Llamasoft And The GOAT Store Team Up To Offer Exclusive Jagfest 2K1 Prizes  05/24/01

Press Release:

May 22, 2001 - Llamasoft And The GOAT Store Team Up To Offer Exclusive Jagfest 2K1 Prizes

A joint plan by Jeff Minter of Llamasoft and the GOAT Store was revealed today, confirming rumors of a special prize announcement between the two companies. Llamasoft and the GOAT Store will be giving away signed copies of the games Tempest 2000, Tempest 3000 and the Tempest 2000 soundtrack.

"Everyone knew something special was going on," stated Gary Heil of the GOAT Store. "But few people expected this!"

Many of the signed copies of the game will be given away in a raffle at the end of the night, but according to Dan Loosen of the GOAT Store at least one copy of each item will be given to the winner of the Tempest 2000 competition.

"One of those copies will have something extra special about it," explained Dan Loosen of the GOAT Store. "For now, we're just referring to it as 'the Flossie Edition'."

The only way to get a signed copy of Tempest is to attend Atari Jaguar Festival 2K1: Beyond Tempest, being held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 30, 2001.

More information about Jagfest 2K1: Beyond Tempest may be found at the Official Jagfest 2K1 Web site at the GOAT Store (http://www.goatstore.com). Dan Loosen can be reached at [email protected] and Gary Heil can be reached at [email protected] for more information on the event.
