€-JAGFEST 10/25/00 - The European JagFest project has been coming along nicely. It will be held in Meddo, near the Dutch city Winterswijk. The festivities are set to start on the 12th of November. For more information check out the E-Jagfest page.

RARE JAG GAMES FOUND! OR NOT? 10/16/00 - STREET FIGHTER 2, STREET FIGHTER 2 CHAMPION EDITION, STREET FIGHTER ALPHA 2, SONIC 3 & KNUCKLES! I recently came across a web site showing box art from these games. A few months ago there was an auction on Yahoo for an Atari Jaguar version of Street Fighter Alpha 2. This information may make you want to get excited. But wait. Lets slow down, take a deep breath, and do some rational thinking. First off, let us take note that a JPG of a game's box art can be easily faked. Second, it might be helpful to know that the Street Fighter Alpha 2 auction was removed by Yahoo. Final point: there is no documented release of the games in any form, even for testing purposes. So, for the concluding question: Do these "rare" games exist? The disappointing answer is no. To my knowledge (if I am wrong, someone please correct me) NONE of this games exist. The moral of the story is... don't believe everything you read.
